ParkApp
ParkApp is a theme park trip planner that takes all of the group's limitations & demands to get the most out of your stay.

Overview
This project was done during my UX studies.
The assignment was focused on designing a mobile interface finding
the optimal way to reach the user on a rational and optimal level.
This is a generic app for amusement parks that can be customized
for each of the parks according to its rides and attractions.

The Challenge
There's a need for a tool to help you better plan your time, save time in queuing up while taking into consideration limitations, fears optimize your family and your experience without losing time and saving you from any frustrations.
The Goal
ParkApp is here to make visitors stay more and enjoy more!
The App helps the users enjoy their visit to the park with an efficient algorithm that helps them choose the most suitable route for themselves and their companions.
Simultaneously, the App. facilitates the park's push to promote the less common attractions and direct the visitors to additional attraction as restaurants, stands, etc.
Research
Guerrilla Research -
Some of the main issues and pain points of the theme park are:
-
Queue up in long lines
-
Navigation can get quite difficult
-
Lack of details on each attraction such as Age, Height, etc.
Market Analysis
Having reviewed the competition and analyzing their pros and cons and different areas with affinity to other places of the user world and other onboarding and setup wizards.
Wireframes
After gathering all the information along with the insights from the research through collecting inspiration I came to the following results:

Sign in / up & onboarding
The onboarding wizard is actually the main course of the app.
Its purpose is to learn the group structure
and through the AI learn what will work best for the group and create the optimal route for them through the park.
The unseen motive of the park is the ability to navigate the visitors through the park and therefore prevent long waiting lines and angry visitors.
Homepage
Contain all the need-to-know info such as:
-
The weather
-
The most recommended rides or shows
-
The rides that are currently less busy
so you can enjoy an instant takeoff

Using Navigation
While enjoying our afternoon coffee we can plan
which attraction we'd like to go to next.
We can choose between a map view or a list view. on both options, we get the minimum information to make the decision and...
Start navigating the old-school way or
using the AR feature.
Attraction Page
A quite important page in this entire process is the attraction page which explains the attraction and brings the visitor all the information and details that he needs to make the right and quickest decision.
